Click On Start

Click On All Programs

Click On Accessories

Click On Communications

Select New Connection Wizard

The New Connection Wizard Comes Up

Click Next

Put A Dot Next To

“Connect To The Internet”

Click Next

Put A Dot Next To

“Setup Connection Manually”

Click Next

Put A Dot Next To

“Connect Using A Dial Up Modem”

Click Next

In the box labeled ISP Name enter “PIP”

Click Next

In the Phone Number box put the phone number provided to you by the pip staff.

Do not put in the area code.

Click Next

In the Internet Account Information screen

Next to Username: Enter the username provided to you by PIP

Next to Password: Enter the password provided to you by PIP

Next to Confirm Password: Re-Enter the password provided to you by PIP

Uncheck “Turn On Internet Connection Firewall for this connection”

Click Next

Check the “Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop”

Click Finish

Congratulations!

You are now ready to connect to the internet.
